Question

My car's going to ss in the morning to have a dp fitted.. I've already got a ss backbox, I'm undecided as to have the centre done aswell while I'm there.

Just wondered if anyone is running a ss dp with back box with a standard mid if its gonna sound much different to having just the backbox...

Sorry if mumble on a bit

Chris old chap, could we meet up sometime as I would like to hear what your Maggy baffled centre sounds like. Specially as our Differance will be the BB.

If so, we can sort it out off line by email.
Mr SL's seems to be a local grouping point. (Provided he doesn't mind.) Better call and check with him.

P.

Had full SS system in 5 door and it was too noisy even tho I'm half deaf. Replaced centre std cat section and no real drop off in performance but quieter inside and out. It JUST passed the noise test at Bedford on Friday.

Well, I went for the full system in the end
The sound is fantastic, well pleased, also much more responsive. The turbo whistle is almost as loud as the exhaust

The only thing I have noticed is that with just the back box before I used to get the feeling of the turbo coming in distinctivly and the car taking off, with the system that seems to have gone. Maybe its as the turbo spins quicker or lower down the rev range??

I did bring all the old bits home with me just incase though.

I'm chuffed with it though
