Is there any connection between Scorpion and Prodrive exhausts? a friend asked me about his exhaust when he bought a secondhand MY99 and it looked like a Scorpion to me. He later asked the first owner and he said it was from Prodrive. At leats the backbox looked just like a Scorpion.

If it's a Prodrive one it should have 'Prodrive' on the tailpipe I believe.
The old Scorpion system is also a fair bit larger than the Prodrive jobby. How old is the exhaust?
I doubt they're the same as the Scorpion one one sounds much nicer!!!

Scorpion made the PPP backbox up until very recently.

Scorpion used to make their own 4" tailpipe, but have now ceased production. For the last 12/18 months or so, the Scorpion backbox is/was the <MY00 PPP backbox, identical except for the word Scorpion in the place of the Prodrive logo.

I swapped my Prodrive PPP BB for a Scorpion one, staggered at the total lack of difference, Scorpion gave me my money back (having explained the above) and I bought a Scoobysport BB by far the best out there!!

Thanks for the info.

I've had a complete Scorpion system on my MY99. When I replaced it with the original exhaust it turned out that it had been rubbing against the left rear axle. It was a 3,5 inch pipe. In contrast with my OMP backbox it didn't have a dip in the backsection just under the rear axle. Wonder if a 4 inch pipe would fit at all.
