Clutch fitment (need help)
#1
Hi Everyone
I have recently bought a new clutch for my 94 import and Im am pondering on fitting it myself. I am a competent engineer and know my way round a tool box, but I am looking for any advice before I start.
Eg:
1) Is it easier to remove the box on its own or with the engine complete.
2) Is there anything I need to know before trying to split the box from the engine.
3) Do you know how long it should take.
Thanks
Mark.

you can remove the box on it's own with no probs it is easier to do it with the exhaust separated from the turbo but beware of studs seizing up and breaking. before you pull the two apart remember to remove the clutch pivot pin which is located down the side of the starter and hidden behind a 10mm allan key bolt.
i think the book time is 3-4 hrs not sure but when you've done a few you can do them in about 2
hope this helps
