Should I transfer the heat shield onto the decat pipe or is it o.k without?

Ive been running my wrx without the heat sheild for 3 months now anfter replacing my std downpipe with a scoobysport one and have had no problems whatsoever,this includes 1 trackday too
just my 2p worth

I left them off.
They are only there to shield the catalyst which heats up much more than a straight through pipe.
