Question

Went to Powerstation yesterday. Asked if they
had any of the above. Was told that they had just got off the phone with Magnex (as they were waiting for a delivery of said)and had been informed by their head of sales that they shouldnt be in the catalogue as they weren't making any and, rather more confusingly, that they never had made any???
As I was thinking of buying one to quieten down my S/sprt system I'm now wondering if I haven't been imagining things. Does anyone have the faintest idea what any of this means and can anyone suggest an alternative?
Cheers Sunjunky

Hi there,

I bought mine from Falkland in Scotland about a year ago. i also know that they are available from Demon Tweeks.

I don't think you need to specify one with a resonator, as I was told they no longer make the straight through one. As I say, I was told this a year ago, so it may have changed since!

Hope this helps
Andy

Question

I have a magnex straight through (no resonator) centre section. Installed at PS only three weeks ago. At the time I tried to get one with a resonator, but was told by PS that it would not be in from Magnex in time for my visit, hence the straight through jobby. Very little noise in side the car from the centre section, in fact I find the Magnex centre and back box to be very quite for a performance exhaust. Just a nice quite rumble that is really no any louder than the road noise.

Question

I've just spoken to the exhaust section at Demon Tweeks and was told that the Magnex c/s is a plain straight through pipe and they had never heard of one with a resonator for a Scoob. What is this mythical pipe that I search for???

DR Motorsport just quoted me for a Magnex Centre with Resonator this week, delivery from Magnex in 2 weeks time, so they must exist.

I tried ordering the straight through section from CLF(magnex) and they said that they no longer sell them as people ave complained about them being to loud.
So i had to get one with the resonator instead.
Bit miffed about this as I wanted the sraight through for my scoobs.
