Intercooler Upgrades
Now that our scorching British summer is on its way (hmmm?!), I'm thinking about upgrading the intercooler on my MY00. The difference in the cars performance with the present intercooler, when warm, is very noticeable and depressing.
Do anybody have any knowledge of an upgrade available, be it a more efficient intercooler or possibly even a chargecooler?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

hi steve
the FMIC is the way to go to honest. the good thing though is there are a lot more FMIC kits available/ going to be available very soon for the imprezas and the prices are going down all the time. you can get an HKS for less than 1k if you look in the right places. scoobymania are making their own one. APS and hyperflow are getting suppliers in the UK and they should be even cheaper. i think around £800 will be the avarage price for them soon.
watch this space i should be getting one over the next few weeks or so.

V5-APS you'll be ecstatic with the APS FMIC kit, a few M8s of mine have it on there scoobs, in OZ and they hammer. I'll be getting it later on in the year when my friend who is a dealer for APS, comes to Greece for a holiday. I have the APS cold air ducting with the K&N filter ,also worth considering as it makes a huge difference.
