My old RA used to be a pig when we'd had the box out. It came out on a couple of occassions, first to sort the wiring to the centre diff, second time for a clutch.

Both times it didn't align properly, which could largley be down to the skill of the mechanic.

It was very notchy at first, I nearly dislocated my shoulder trying to get it in to first for about ten miles, and the clutch pedal seemed low and stodgy.

Then all of a sudden it was back to normal!

Still no idea what caused it, but whatever it was rectified itself!

Cheers,
Simon
