you could do some engine mods e.g.
Dump Valves
Engine Bay Products - Hoses, Tanks, Strut Braces etc.
Gauges
Induction & Spark Plugs
and for the out site alloys, spoiler, exhaust, body kits etc...

scoobyparts.com

scoobyworld.co.uk

are two good web sites for scooby moding

Depends what you want?

If it's better power then spend the money on a exhaust system and induction kit and even an ECU remap

if it's looks, then maybe spoiler, splitter, quad headlamps, vision blue bulbs, or maybe tint the windows

you could also get a set of nice alloy wheels, or even upgrade the brakes.

have a think about what you want from the car, then you'll have a better idea of what to look at.

a good exhaust system ,hks, blitz£500ish,induction kit you could spend from £80-£180,blow off valve, theres a group buy on them in the general section £170ish bargain .them alone would put a smile on your face.

Im looking at exactly the same and £1200 - £1400 is my budget

for a ecutek remap that will cost you £650 + VAT orthough there was a powerstation group buy for £500 ending January. You might be able to get on that.

It is a good idea to get all your mods done before the remap to avoid paying for another mapping session circa £200.

I would go for a full exhaust system. Downpipe £200 centre £100 backbox £200- £300.

Different systems attach in different ways some are in 3 pieces (Magnex, scoobymania), or 4 pieces scoobyworld tsl ect.)

(this is new age cars, not sure if its the same for my99)

Im probably going for the scoobyworld afteburner pipes with a ninja back box. but im also considering magnex as it will be queiter.

Fit a K& N or green panel filter and you will be looking at circa £270bhp

this will leave you enough to get the geometry setup on your car as well. (allthough you may want to look at brakes as well.

have fun

Peter

STUBBSIE,
Check out the For Sale section theres generally lots of handy stuff for sale at a good price.
My list would be,
1; Second hand exhaust (center section & back box)
2; Dawes device (cheap so get a new one)
3; Fuel Cut Defender
4; Knocklink (there was a group buy on these a while ago)
This little lot should give you a nice increase in power.
Then you can look out for styling stuff. I think POC was selling a load of stuff on there a while ago as he was returning his present car to standard before selling it.
