Radiator Temperature Valve
While I was getting my pads changed yesterday, I noticed on display a replacement valve unit for the radiator.
It's a mechanical valve unit that is set to open/close at a fixed temperature and the box said that it would operate when temperatures hit 60 degrees Celsius rather than the Subaru stock unit which was calibrated at 78 degrees Celsius.
Has anyone seen similar things or even installed such a unit? Any noticeable differences?
Cheers.
