Headers question??
Basic answer is ... yes, if you do for each joint leave the half from whic flow is coming parallel and the half into which the gas is flowing should be ported ie matched to the gasket diameter, don't touch the heads but match the castings to the gaskets deep profiling to give smooth flow, on the cross pipe which has a steel insert again profile enry but not exit, same with up pipe if you can be bothered to remove it, you can do the bottom end in situ.

so you are basically building in some anti reversion steps so gasses flow well away from the ports towards the turbo, but not the other way round. Daft as it may sound airflow can be in both directions if the cam timing is wild enough.

Cheers Lads, i've just seen some Headers for sale off a Sti V already done, so I may buy those and swop them round.
Bob, as you know I will be getting my car mapped (Tek3) with yourself in the near future, so i'm just exploring all avenue's so I can get the best out of the re-map. Will this make a noticable/significant difference?
Is it a big job swopping the headers over?
Thanks again to you both.

Hi, no its easy to swap the headers as long as you leave the up pipe, make sure you use all laminated steel gaskets (new) though not the "pansy" uk variety as they won't last long. Dealers would have for the P1's
