I have just had a scoobysport downpipe fitted and must get around to telling the insurance company.
But what do I tell them?
i.e increase in performance, stainless steel etc?
What difference is this likely to have on my premium?

Many thanks,

Jon

Jon,

many insurers will know what a ScoobySport D/P is so you should be ok.

Also, Insurers foolishly base rerating on having increased power - and the D/P has much more impact on torque and performance rather than power.

If it comes to the crunch, get your car dynoed at Powerstation - they have conservative/accurate numbers that should keep the underwriter happy.
