Mapping the RA's 5th injector
#2
Guess I could just T-off one of the other injector signals, and reduce the overall fueling by 20% as a base. Not sure if the flow we be enough at low RPM though

Does anyone have a pre MY96 RA map HEX file they could send me? The code in it can soon be disassembled and looked at.
I wonder how much the code differs from a normal WRX? My guess is somewhere between nothing at all and not a lot!

Hi David. Very much doubt the code differs at all - probably a mappable thing. Still skeptical that JECS can control it, unless Mr Wallis knows better? I'll read out the code on mine (95 RA) if you're interested?

93/94 RA is near enough the same as a early WRX U8, 2C or W6 ECU. The performance maps i.e boot, boost control, fuel, ignition, fuel-cut etc..etc... are identicle.
95/96 STi RA is similar to a Z4 but with some wierd low RPM and load ignition values.
However, they seem happy enough running with a modified Z4 base map from a 95/96 WRX.
