Just had a mongoose ss 4" fitted to my sti5typeR, sounds great! I had a scorpion 4" on my old car (wrx) and it sounded ok, but this sounds tuneful AND loud! I would recommend it to any1 thinking of upgrading their exhaust. Who needs ice!

If I was using my car just for track days then i would say that a 4" system would be ok. But as i use my car everyday and live in a quite area, a nosiey (loud) exhaust system would not be advised.
At the end of the day i think its the tone of the exhaust your after, not loudness.

Plus mongoose has poor downpipe design that is like OE spec - just without a CAT - poor compared to the twin dump systems that are not too much dearer
BPM seems to be the way to go for both performance and noise - I have not heard a nicer system - and I have now heard Blitz and HKS, et al. They dont compete. As far as Scorpion goes - well lets leave this rubbish to the RS brigade!

well i'm just giving my opinion from the different systems i've heard. As for the scorpion, i know what im talking about because i had one on my old car, a 94 wrx, for two and a half years, i am not basing my opinion on 5 mins in mcdonalds on a wet sat night full of donuting novas with peco back boxes and peroxide bimbos!
As regarding HKS systems, there is a point at which the noise from a scooby can sound OTT, although louder than a mongoose i dont think it sounds better. Also how much is a full HKS system and is it really worth the big difference in price? in my opinion, no.
