my97 uk turbo currently running a centre decat and blitz nur spec rear..now wanting a downpipe with best power gain please??????advice appreciated...also what would you recommend next mod after downpipe.
car running itg panel,forge vta valve.and did 255bhp at well lane last month..now in need of a "reliable" more???????????help..

 

I just had a HKS Downpipe put on MY99 RB5 to compliment the existing JeTex Full System.

The pipe looks amazing and sounds so meaty. I got a Forge dump valve as well, and almost every time i change gear i get back fire

IMHO i'd go HKS

 

From memory the KHS isn't stainless steel though?

If had to choose any, it would be any of: TSL / Magnex / H&S

Next mod would be to ditch the dump valve and fit the re-circ back on. Then go for an aftermarket ECU such as a link or Gems.

And use the search

Have a search but they do nothing posotive for the performance and can cause rich fuelling when they lift.

Speak to Bob Rawle / John Banks etc - All of them advise against it. Ive had them and although the sound is good for a while, performance is better with the standard one. BRD wont sell you an atmos one
