Please tell me how an aftermarket dump valve will benefit my 03 WRX PPP, if it will benefit it! Any additional suggestions for improving pick up in the 2-3000 rev range? Thanks!

One thing it wont benefit, your warranty ! I asked Subaru about puttin one on mine. They said they dont do one and any other make would invalidate my warranty. Not sure about performance ? I know they make a lotta noise but didnt think they did much to BHP !

It will give you no benefit whatsoever on a standard(ish) car.
It will just make noise (assume you're talking about a VTA- Vent to atmosphere).
If that's what you're after, go for it.
If not, don't.
