Question

I'm replacing my DTM with another DTM (think that's the phrase).....

Got the car up on the ramps, found the two bolts that attach the back box to the centre section. BUT, they're rather tightly done up (understatement!!!)

Any ideas how to loosen these babies up?

Soak a rag in WD40 and wrap it around the bolt and let it soak for a couple of hours .
If this doesn't work you might try a universal gas ratchet . It always works .

Having had the same trouble with 2 cars, on one I cut them off with an elastic cutting wheel on an electric drill. On the other I used brut force and sheared the bolts using 2 ring spanners.
