Clutch adjustemnt on a 99/00 Subaru Impreza Turbo
#1
Does anyone know how or know of a site that will tell me how to adjust the clutch biting point?
I need to adjust the biting point since my dad got in my car and drove it - you wouldnt believe how bad it feels to see your car headed off down the road with the clutch smoking because your dad driving it hasnt driven a manual car for 3 years! Anyway the biting point is about 3/4 the way up now and I would like to adjust it back down again if possible without having to book it into the local garage.
Needless to say me dad is banned from driving my car now!
Cheers,
Sam

These cars have a hydraulic clutch, there is no cable to adjust, you can adjust the pushrod length into the master cylinder but that's only meant for adjusting the freeplay, not the biting point, sounds like the clutch is shagged.
