Question

Can someone help me, ive been looking on the FAQ and found out about piston slap, my local dealer has said that my MY98 Turbo has this but they are only going tochange the piston and not the engine, is this right or are they taking the easy option?

Thanks for the quick responce, one last question though, when i was at my dealers they told me that if there was any mod's to the car then subaru would not do the work. As i have a scoobysport back box and ING filter panel he said that if subaru came down to look at the car then he would have to change the exhaust and the air filter for standard ones untill the job is done! this is all at a cost to me!, is this true or is he just trying to get MORE money out of me.

Cheers for your help

Steve

Get them whipped off mate. Rumours say that Subaru UK are tightening up on matters like this so don't risk it.

You may also want to consider changing your user name if you are going to make confessions of this nature - 'Big Brother' is watching you know .

"Otis".
