Question

Anybody done a comparison on changing to a de-catted system, what improvements in bhp?

From what I've read here, the main benefactor is Torque. Mmmmmmmm BHP goes up, but fiqures seem to vary. The turbo spins up quicker and earlier.

Have a look at the Dyno pages, there are quite a few SS DP's there.

Also been told by several people that the mid section doesn't make that much differance. Just enables flame outs and makes it louder unless you have a silenced centre, BOOOOOO.

Hope the above is what you were after, just don't expect great BHP gains.

Seat of the pants view - changed to full SS from turbo back plus ITG panel filter in one go. Turbo spools up earlier, torque moved lower down, moderate power increase, sounds BRILLIANT!!!
