I posted a thread a week ago re. the gearbox on my MY00 Turbo developing a whirring whining noise. This got worse during the week so I managed to get the car looked at by my dealer on Monday.
It turned out that one of the supports for the centre diff had broken. Apparently this is quite unusual. Even more so as I have only done 12.5k miles.
Anyway - just something for you all to note in your mental subaru fault diagnosis lists
