Can someone more experienced than myself please tell me what dump valves do, where they should be installed and if they are any good. Would you recommend fitting one to a Scoob.

What advantages/disadvantages do they have.

James.

James.

Dump valves have been discussed at length before, so it would be well worth doing a search on "dump valve" on the BBS to find out more.

Basically, a dump valve is fitted reduce stress on the turbo, and therefore prolong its life. But, your Impreza Turbo already has a perfectly adequate recirculating dump valve so I'd spend you hard-earned elsewhere!

Andrew.
