Got a weird noise coming from the powertrain/driveshaft area of my 03WRX (with 5K on clock). It only seems to happen though when I reverse on full lock. Best way to describe it is it's as if the CV joints are shot and I can feel something notchy through the steering wheel.

Any of you people had the same issue???

Cheers Lisan, but the car is under warranty (FOC repairs).
If it gets worse I'll be paying the dealer a visit. Although I wouldn't expect the CV's to give up after 5K miles of normal driving.
You could be of help to others here though. Cheers.

Very strange you should say that, it only happens to me in the cold and only when reversing at almost full lock. I'm not too concerned though as soon as I pull off it's fine (even at warp factor 9 Mr Sulu). Cheers.
