I'm thinking of investing in an intercooler shield to stop me little fins getting all mashed but I'm a bit worried that it might impede air flow over the 'cooler.
Has anyone fitted one of these and did you notice a performance difference?
Thanks.

Fitted a Scoobysport one, didnt notice any drop in performance although i think it has been constructively proved that they do impeed efficiency to some (very?) minor degree. There are so many variables that can affect how your car runs (weather, fuel quality, etc etc) so i do not think its ever going to be material in the whole grand scale of things

Really depends whether you are prepared to live with knowing that, or with damaged fins. I know what i'd prefer.

I'm making my own with mesh straight under the scoop - will see how that goes, if it changes anything drastically.......
