I'm looking to get tek 3 on my MY01. I have a Miltek exhaust ready to fit. This has a performance cat in the downpipe and then straight to the back box.

Questions I have are -

Doo I need to change the uppipe as I have head the cat get's chucked into the Turbo with the added heat and boost pressure.

Do I fit an uppipe at the same time as fitting the exhaust

If so which one is the best (and of course cheapest)

Do I then need to replace the EGT sensor with a 2.2K resistor to avoid problems when it melts down!

Wink

Well worth changing upipe & downpipe at the same time, & you will see better gains from doing both.

The cheapest option is to fit the 2.2 resistor as the EGT's are prone to going with the extra heat (i think I got through 5...before relocating the sensor to the downpipe)

For an upipe I think Hayward & Scott have a group buy on at the moment so give Ian a call on 01268 727256
