Question

Having bought the above it looks easy enough to fit but before I do, which end of the speedo cable does it fit on to?
I dont want to jack up the car if it fits behind the speedo which I need to take apart anyway to fit new faceplate.
I hopefully will be doing it tomorrow.
Thanks - Jim.

Jim fitted mine about a month ago it go's the gearbox end of the cable about 8" from the box theres a join, remove clip which holds the join together insert gearing box replace the original clip and then the clip you got with the gearing box and bobs your dads brother you don't need to touch the fasia or clocks unless you have to a fit new speedo face. hope this is help. Rik
I would also advise on wrapping the gearing box with some tape especially the clips just to be on the safe side.

Hi

Jap cars are restricted to 112mph (i think) most off the time you need to do a modification to speedo (again i think maybe corrected) change this and you can go 145ish top end in a scooby obviously only on a track or autobahn .

Cheers

Ids- really easy to fit but GGR are not the cheapest by far, try racelogic I think they are about £90 from them.
If you pop round at all I can show you how it fits. 2hrs including speedo faceplate change Regards - Jim.
