Hi all,

My Scoob has started making strange noises when I steer. There are two noises, a high pitched 'wheezing' when I steer left. And a strange metallic jingling/scraping noise in a straight line. Right makes the noises stop temporarily. If I wind the window down it is quite audible

I assume there is some problem with the power steering, although it still works ok ATM.

Can anyone suggest what these symptoms could be?

Try topping up the fluid resevoir. It's quite deceptive. Looks full but isn't

Mine stopped making noises after i filled it up

i had noises steering left, it ended up being the magnex d/pipe catching on the steering[they ended up replacing it],hope it helps. mark
