Has anyone out their fitted a front mounted Intercooler to their Subaru. If so what gains did it give.

I've been quoted around £1500 for the parts and work. Also I've been told I should fit an APEX Fuel control and Boost control so that the fuel and boost and be mapped accurately ~ to avoid detonation when the boost gets increase to 1.3 bar.

Its a MY94(UK) with Cosworth pistons, running 17PSI (1.1 bar) now, but I'm experiencing heat saturation as the IC can't cope.
