It took the exhaust guys 3hours to remove and fit a new downpipe due to the awkward removal of the turbo/downpipe heatshield. This hasnt been re-fitted, will this cause any problems?
The downpipe makes so much difference I couldnt believe it, pulls like a nutter now !

Thanks in advance..

Hi Jason
The heat sheild on the down pipe itself doesn't normally get refitted as its connected to the Cat and shouldn't cause any problems, however the turbo heatshield should have been replaced. The guys at Scooby sport just had to cut a small section off one side to get it to fit.
I'd take it back if this has not been done.

Enjoy!!

Martin

You have to be even more careful not to open the bonnet and grab hold of the turbo with your bare hands now!

Haven't had any problems running with mine removed.
