Hello, when I depress the clutch or release it I sometimes feel and hear the pedal click at the top of the movement, have noticed no depreciation in the smoothness of the gearchange or any other problems, its annoying more than anything else especially in traffic, I just wondered if it might be the start of a problem that could manifest itself later and might be preventable now.

Have checked to make sure the pedal is not loose just in case and it seems fine.

Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

MY98 Turbo, by the way

Cheers

You may find the noise is comming from the pivot bush. a majority of them are supplied "split" and not as a whole so to speak, so as this split, moves/rotates around, it gets to a point so when you press the pedal, it "opens" slightly as creates the noise.
it can be softened by rotating the bush [very easy]
and greasing

Scoobyslut, thanks for that, bit lacking on the technical side so this bush is presumably on the pedal mechansim?

Cheers
