Yes.. different.
It is a Bosch part and I think the standard one might be a bosch too but they are definitly different.
Also you cannot connect the knock link into the standard sensor as it will take some of the sensitivity away from the ECU.. not that you mentioned doing but just thought I'd say.
Knock Link sensors I think TweenieRob might have a source..
Or BR Developments sell them... if you can get the part number you can of course go direct to Bosch probably..
