With my MY97, I had a ScoobySport backbox & downpipe, along with a K&N 57i air inductor, and running NORMAL unleaded.

I recently got 245bhp/230lb/ft on Power Engineering's rolling road.

Now people believe that the readings my be a bit high, so it may be closer to 230 bhp, which is still up on the normal 208bhp.

Either way it's a big improvement in noise, and the turbo does spin up a lot quicker!!

Andy

PS - For other comparisons on the rolling road, it may be worth looking at:

Thumbs up

I know some other Impreza owners, think that the car is too loud! As I pull into the road where my parents live, they open the door before I can park up!

If you don't already, you'll learn to love the noise!! Either that or fit a big stereo to mask the slightly droney noise on the motorway!!

Me, well I love the nosie, and have a big stereo!!! Well a change is as a good as a rest!!

nooooooooooooo...........
please don't go there ....
please don't mention harley's in the same sentence as a Scoob mate!

Harley = 2 wheel'ed tractor

I know sod all about motorbikes but if you want to compare one to a Scoob surely its going to be a Ducati/Quacker/Yam/Suz/Triumph etc..... ?

One the nicest sounds I've heard was a Ducati 851 Superbike tearing away.... a few years ago...

Sorry but I have a friend who is Ducati fanatic and for him is no car good enough. His topbike is one 180Hp monster fully carbon and Hi-tec. You can`t imagine that power. No Porsche,Ferrari or McLaren can compare with it!
Otherwise you`re right becouse Scooby is only one! No Charsima/Lancer/Evo can be used for every day and look not so good and what`s Ferrari or Porsche mean there is not enough place for 5 persons... Yes SCOOBY forever!Change breaks change exhaust change induction and you are the King of the road!Feel it simply!
