I've decided its time for a new exhaust note (so i'm selling my blitz dv and H&S back box to raise funds), anyway...

...I've heard good things from the Afterburner and Firestorm, but would I be right in saying they produce similar sound and noise level?

I'm after something with a deep idle burble and something which will sound awesome on WOT, I've heard a Blitz with a bung and think that sounds great but i'm told its restrictive. Just after some views on these two and also on noise levels, i've heard the Blitz WITHOUT the bung and its just silly and would annoy me greatly.

I've got H&S from Scoobysport with my full decat atm and it was great when I first got it but i've grown used to it and it just doesnt light my fire any more.

 

How much do you want for the H&S back box?

Ive got a full afterburner decat system and it sounds awesome! Ive built it up from the back and obviously the sound changes depending whether its just the BB etc etc. The afterburner is loud though. My mates got a Blitz on an MR2 Turbo and mine is louder than that (different car i know but goes to show the afterburner is loud too)! Not heard the firestorm in anger but always seems to get good comments too. Best thing to do is try and get a listen of both systems as its often personal preference. Excellent service from Scoobyworld though, I can recommend them!

 

I changed from a Magnex to the Firestorm, then went decat withthe Firestorm and it's really loud.
Saying that, i've got a wagon, so to me, it's really loud in the cabin.

If i were buying again though, i think i'd go for a Blitz or HKS.
Firestorm is just a little too raspy at higher revs for my liking.
