Engine woes....

ok I have a problem with my 95 wrx.
took it out for a drive and noticed that steam was coming out from under the bonnet - not good.
However I managed to get back home ok, now having refilled the rad it runs fine on tickover but steam pours out of the drivers side off the engine bay if i rev it. Anybody know whats wrong and how to fix it ?
