should i de-cat up pipe or not

hi-i have a MY01 with a downpipe onwards tsl exhaust so got rid of one cat-should i get rid of the up pipe cat by having a new up pipe or is it not worth expense-btw-what would be the expense of it-plus is it worth it for horse power gains-should i the get a knock link if i have that done or an egine re-map -please answers

Its down to you mate,but i would get the up-pipe done if you have already done the rest of the system.Cost wise your looking around £100 for a new pipe and £100 to fit it.
De-catting the up-pipe will make a noticable difference power wise as you will get quicker turbo spool up,the thing i noticed was a lot more noise when the up-pipe was changed as any new one doesnt have the heatshields and insulation like the original.
If you then decide to go for a re-map your car is ready as a FULL de-cat will make around 285BHP with Ecutek.
