Question

I have a UK MY98. I am about to get a scoobysport backbox fitted. I do not want the hassle of refitting catalysts at MOT time. My questions are:-

Does a UK MY98 have a central cat as well as the downpipe cat?

Would I see a performance advantage by replacing the centre section with the scoobysport centre pipe but leaving the standard downpipe?

Would a car with only the downpipe cat pass an MOT?
