Please can someone help me with the following questions?

1 I have a transmission complete with the following serial numbers, can anyone tell me if the Numbers are for an RA trans made in 1996?..... 92-TY7 52V B3DA, 737 264
If not, what trans is it? Also, does the Number tell the diff ratio and the gear ratios(can't see it myself).

2 The trans has the rear matching diff with it. If it is an RA then it should have an LSD fitted. How can I be sure it has without taking the rear cover off? The trick I've tried is to hold firm one output of the diff and try to revolve the input shaft. The shaft revolves thus I think it does not have a LSD fitted.

Any help would be good!
Graham.
