Link ecu does not support the automatic water spray function at this time.

Does anyone know if the water spray on the Type R is linked into the ECU and if it is does the Possum Link support it?

Reading the manual there is no mention of it but perhaps there is a specific version for the STI's

I assume (all too often) that it would be easy to modify the spray to work off a separate adjustable pressure switch.Like the one used on the ERL water inj'.

Bob, could it also be wired into the fan circuit (temp adjustable on the Possum) then you would have the best of both worlds.

Mark.

Yes it could be wired to be actuated by either pressure or temperature or both dependant on need and application. Pressure is straightforward, temperature would need some coolant pipework mods but all doable.
Link settings need to be left to trip the fans but no problem to fit a separate thermal switch (preferably programable) and do it that way.
