Mobil 1 Motorpsort or Shell Helix or Silkolene from Scoobtsport.

I change oil and filter every 3 months regardless of mileage!

Regards

Red face

I have reciently changed my oil to standard Mobil 1 0W-40 and having read Scoobnet reciently the general concensus is that this is crap and too thin.Surely an aid to removing heat from turbo bearings etc would be a faster flowing oil? What damage is likely from thinner oil? Anyway im off to buy some Mobil one motorsport.

I'd like to change the oil myself between services. Is it easy on the Scooby? I do it always on my jeep. Anything I need to look out for on the Scooby? Any mail order places to get the proper Scooby oil filter cheap?

Cheers,

Gethin.

Thumbs up

I use a natural Rally oil that outp[erforms any of the synthetic stuff, and it is regularly replaced as I have a 'free supply' hence, I do not need to worry about it breaking down
