Question

Has anybody had the Prodrive Performance Package installed on a 98 Terzo Impreza?? If so, was it worth £2000 and was the performance noticable...

I have heard a lot of rumours about the 98 package and that it doesn't always increase the BHP at all..

Let me know you opinions...

Thanks
Dav.

Power Enginnering can give you more power and driveability on pre MY99 cars for around £650+VAT. I have only driven a 99 PP car (which was damn good) but from previous postings my opinion is that £2000 is too much for the minor mods made by Prodrive. Get yourself a ScoobySport back box and a PE Phase 1. You can go on holiday with the extra Grand or transfer it into my bank account.

One note of caution is that your warrenty will not officially cover the PE chip remap. Your dealer won't notice this anyway as there are no bolt on bits and your ECU retains all of its diagnostic attributes.

Andy.

On the dyno we have seen the Prodrive PP get no more power or torque than a standard 98MY car -- it's not just a rumour, the package just doesn't seem to work.

The details can be found at:
