Driveshaft from a STI 6 do they fit R160 hubs

I’ converting my classic impreza from a 5 MT to a 6 MT from a STI 8
I’ve got the gearbox and the rear diff.
The rear diff is a type R180 but my car has a R160 rear diff as standard the R180 diff fits to my car but is a little bit wider than a R160 diff so I wish to use some rear driveshaft from a STI 6(is as standard equipped whit an R180 diff) but will the STI 6 driveshaft fit my rear diff and my rear hubs.
Are the lay shafts (the bit that goes in the diff and the hubs) the same length and the same diameter?
The diff is from an STI 8 and the hubs are from an uk turbo if not can I use rear hubs from an STI 8 on my car are do I need the hubs from an STI6 or any classic STI.
