I am wondering how easy it is to fit a V6 STI engine to a V5 STI car, is it just the same as fitting a V5 or are there differences between the two.
I know that there is a few that have ver.6 engines in them, but don't know if it is any more difficult to do!

I think sg72 had a garage do all the work, so he might not know first hand if they had any difficulties.
Altough I think you guys are right, don't think there will be any problems.....hope not
Anyone else know of any potential hazards!!

You're right SBTR.
I did get FALKLAND PERFORMANCE to source and fit my engine .
Along with a couple of other mods at the time.
Engines between Ver.5+6 are same AFAIK.
Also ECU Ditto. AF041 was used on Ver5 Type Rs and ver.6s.
No problems encountered.
Steve.
