can anyone help me ,im after renewing my boost solenoid and actuator hoses on my 95 wrx ,the problem is i dont know what diameter i require ,does anyone know ?, and would normal petrol hose suffice, the reason for changing them is im starting to suffer a lot of overboost and on closer inspection of the hoses , they seem to be deterioating and cracking and kinked which i think would reduce the diameter of the hoses and possibly be causing my problem of overboost , any help appreciated thanx .

You may find that petrol pipe hose is a bit too large in diameter, plus it will be a bit too "unbendable" to put in place and may even break off the connectors of the boost solenoid. I would strongly suggest you get the right pipes, even if from a dealer as they are all the same and dont cost that much, as the small tee piece[ with hoses] by the turbo is only a couple of quid.
