I have a MY01 WRX, got hold of the following parts and are fitting them next week:

STi7 turbo
STi7 Intercooler
STi7 Injectors
STi7 Bonnet scoop

Already have complete de-cat exhaust system, upgraded fuel pump, ITG panel filter and will be getting another re-map.

Is there anything unobvious in the engine bay that I should also be fitting? For example will the WRX dumpvalve be OK with the STi turbo? Please advise, thanks.

 

yep internals,different on a STI to a WRX,STIs are a lot stronger! oh and the big red inlet manifold.

 

you are getting a remap

so ditch the turbo and fit a better unit
