Im planning on fitting a FMIC very soon and fully decatting what are the implications of the MY98 sti ecu,is it re mappable or is there a better alternative.Last thing i want to do is blow it up,its only done 6k on new Autosportif rebuild.

 

MY97/98 are not as easily mapped as the early and the late cars, IIRC there is the PE Phase 1 conversion, other than that it is a change the ECU to a link or similar.
