Thumbs up

well i just bought a hks downpipe but the popular is the scoobysport downpipe - think thats its correct name in the scooby shop! this has open neck which i supposed to be slightly better than mine - closed neck - for the reason of the wastegate gasses will get a better flow. However the standard d/pipe is a closed nek so either of the replacements will make a gud change for the car! (the hks is far cheaper too!! but only mild steel )
hope this is of help, i only just found this info out myself!!!!

Mornin ma'am,

I got the Hayward & Scott open neck split downpipe, at the same time as the 3.5" exit silencer. Well impressed with both. My centre section is OEM, as I wasn't sure whether the pros outweigh the cons on removing the centre cat. Something to consider for MOT time...

Regards,

Ade.

Thanks to both of you for replies. Hubby just cant decide on whether to change that mid section or not due to same reasons. So likely to be the Scoobysport downpipe and leave centre section for now then...

Thanks again.
