Question

I have seen pics of Cossie's and Skylines where a cone is just stuck on the turbo.

I would have thought that some scoob's would have this due to the awkward path the inlet pipe runs.

Is it due to space as it is tight around the turbo. To do it would mean moving the turbo, then changing exhaust etc.

Just curious and one of those Friday thoughts.

Damian.

You would have to run off the MAP rather than MAF sensor really, but that is no bad thing. Breathers would have to be vented, charcoal canister removed, dump valve VTA. Then try to make an inlet duct to supply it and separate from the heat from the exhaust housing nearby. Might fit better if you clock the turbo - ie rotate it with custom up and downpipes so that the filter can be pointing towards the wing, from which you could bring cold air ducting.

Yeah, but without the extension towards the wing. The cone is literally just stuck onto the turbo.

Charge cooler by the looks of it. Looks an interesting setup.
