HI FOLKS ANYONE OUT THERE WHO CAN GIVE ME ANY ADVISE ON MY 93 WRX-RA.ONE MINUTE IT BOOSTS THEN THE NEXT ITS LIKE DRIVING A NON TURBO SPORT.(VERY FRUSTRATING TO SAY THE LEAST)

got this same problem except i keep hitting overboost then droping to .4 bar...

Anyone know whats going on??

I have had this problem aswell have you checked for fault codes and try reseting ecu if that doesnt work take your boost control solenoid off and soak in wd40 over nite that should do the trick if you want directions on how reset ecu then mail me at subarudriver@stephenson1981.fsbusiness co uk

hads the same on my 93 wrx see my other thread (holding back) in the end it was the ecu since changing it it has been fine

It could be that your boost solenoid is playing up.

I've heard of quite a few recently that have packed up, or become blocked.

I would try cleaning it out first, just to make sure there isn't any blockages, especially as a new one is around £200.
