After having had the centre diff replaced - long story and I did not pay the bill ! - I now find the gearbox insists I change gear more like a little old lady - very carefully from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 almost feeling for it or there is a nasty crunching noise. All other changes can be taken normally.
So is it a bearing or worse. Any ideas.
Finally if it is bad news can I swop the box on a 95 WRX for an STi box ?
