Going to be wrapping my downpipe soon. I am sure I have read somewhere that you wet it before you apply it is this right or can you use it dry?
Thanks in advance.
Ayde.

Used 10M on downpipe and 10M on centre section (to stop the tinnie sound).
I done it wet with both pipes of the car.
Just lobbed the wrap in a bucket of water and pulled it out as I needed it.
I think it helps it wrap and then it maybe shrinks a little when it gets hot and hence tightens.

Got mine from www.proven-products.co.uk and got the clips from there to. I ordered my paint from www.agriemach.com they do silver or black just waiting for it to turn up - the paint was only about £8 with the postage.
