Does anyone know where to fit the vacuum pipe for a boost gauge on a WRX MY03. I couldn't see a "spare" nipple anywhere, unlike on my previous MY00 Impreza.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Steve.

If Steve has no objections, I'll post the picture here once I receive it.

Use a tee piece in the pipe that runs from the manifold to the dump valve at the dump valve. The dealer showed me an instruction sheet from Subaru showing this as the recmmended point.

The following pictures should make it clear enough. I am currently using this setup and it seems fine.
Thanks to Steve Sherwen for the following information.

Note that in the picture the strange device (not sure what it is - perhaps some king of one-way valve?) is turned around 180 degrees. You will find it facing the other way.

(JohnD) I assume this is the same place as you refer to in your email? If not let us know.

Thanks Scoobynet'ers, what would we do without it.

The Subaru boost gauge connection is into the dump valve signal hose. I have had no problems with the tie in shown above.
